Factors and methods of slipping of bucket belt in bucket elevator

The factors and solutions for the slipping of the bucket belt of the bucket elevator are as follows:

guangdong bucket elevator

① The bucket elevator uses the friction between the bucket belt and the outer surface of the head wheel to lift the material. When the tension of the bucket belt is insufficient and the friction is not strong, it will cause the surface of the bucket belt and the head wheel to slip.
When the above situation occurs, the machine should be stopped immediately and the tensioning equipment should be adjusted to ensure the tension of the bucket. When the tensioning equipment is adjusted to the lowest position, if the bucket belt cannot be fully tensioned, the following methods can be used to adjust it:
Unfasten the joint of the dustbin belt, adjust the tensioning device on the bottom wheel to the highest position, remove the remaining dustbin belt and dustbin, and connect the ends properly to keep the dustbin belt in a tensioned state.
Then, adjust the tensioning equipment. The tensioning stroke of the conditioning screw that has not been used at the moment should not be less than 70% of the full stroke.
② When the lifting machine exceeds the additional output value, the resistance will increase, and in severe cases, it may cause the bucket belt to slip.
When such a situation occurs, the feeding amount of the material should be immediately reduced, and the feeding should be uniform. If the feeding speed is adjusted to below the additional output value, there may still be slippage.
So it may be due to too much material inside the base, or factors such as the bucket falling off or being stuck by foreign objects. The machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.
③ The head wheel and inner and outer surfaces of the bucket elevator are too lubricated, resulting in poor friction between the two. It is required to cover the outer surface of the head wheel with a layer of rubber to add friction to its surface.
④ The head and tail wheels of the bucket elevator may not roll sensitively, resulting in increased resistance and causing the bucket belt to slip. At this point, it is necessary to replace the bearings of the head or tail wheel.
