The hopper scoops up the material from the storage below, lifts it along with the conveyor belt or chain to the top, passes around the top wheel, and flips downwards. The bucket elevator pours the material into the receiving trough. The transmission belt of a bucket elevator with belt drive is usually made of rubber belt, which is installed on the lower or upper transmission drum and the upper and lower reversing drums. Chain driven bucket elevators are usually equipped with two parallel drive chains, with a pair of drive sprockets on top or bottom and a pair of reversing sprockets on top or bottom. Bucket elevators are usually equipped with a casing to prevent dust from flying in the bucket elevator.
Bucket lifting mechanism manufacturing:
1. Head components of bucket elevator: It consists of an upper casing, an active shaft component, a reducer, a coupling, a motor, and other components assembled into one unit.
2. Middle casing of bucket elevator: Adding different numbers of middle casings according to the required lifting height and equipment can meet the needs.
3. The lower components of the bucket elevator are composed of a bottom casing, a driven shaft component, and a tensioning device. There is a door on the side of the casing that can be opened to inspect the interior, such as cleaning.
4. Bucket elevator chain and hopper: The chain is a welded circular steel chain. The hopper is fixed on the joint of the chain with a nut. Different heights of bucket elevators are equipped with corresponding numbers of chains, joints, and hoppers.
