On September 28th, the QAY500 all ground crane independently developed by XX Group, together with two other cranes, successfully lifted the crossbeam of a shipyard gantry crane weighing over 480 tons into place at the Hubei Haimingxing Group Shipyard Base. It is reported that this QAY500 all ground crane has completely independent intellectual property rights, synchronized with the world's advanced technology, and can lift up to 500 tons.

According to statistics, XX Group allocates 5% of its annual sales revenue to the field of scientific research and development. This year, the proportion of research and development expenses has increased to 6% of sales revenue. The XX Technology Center established by it ranks X5 out of 437 national level technology centers, ranking first in XX province. In January of this year, XX Group invested 434 million yuan to build Jiangsu (XX) Engineering Machinery Research Institute.

It has carried out various forms of industry university research cooperation with higher education institutions and research institutes such as Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Jilin University, etc., to build an integrated innovation system that integrates research and development technology, process technology, standard technology, information technology, and management technology. Among them, the independently developed RP1250 asphalt concrete paver, QAY25 all ground crane, and XX all ground crane industry core technology research and industrialization projects won the first prize of this award.
