Last week, our company renovated a batch of conveyor belts for a local company in Suzhou. We found that the conveyor belts were severely damaged in all aspects, indicating that there were many doubts about the production process in their workshop.
The key points for production management in the workshop will be focused on "how to standardize the use of conveyor belts". Whether the use of equipment is standardized directly affects the production power of the workshop and the service life of the equipment. Standardized production can significantly increase production power without causing equipment damage; On the contrary, incorrect use can lead to surface issues such as line operation problems and damage. Based on our years of experience in processing non-standard equipment, we would like to offer the following suggestions for companies in need regarding the standardized use of belt assembly lines:
1. Equipment should not operate for extended periods of time: after completing certain production tasks, the power supply of the equipment should be closed and the equipment should be inspected and repaired in a timely manner;
2. Equipment should not operate under overload for a long time: When engineers plan the production line, they set the weight of the goods within a certain scale. If the processed items exceed the limit scale, it will cause damage to the production line. If the equipment operates under overload for a long time, there is a risk of belt cracking;
3. Standardize the production behavior of workshop operators and prevent anyone from using hard objects to hit equipment;
4. Avoid placing sharp objects on the surface of the conveyor belt assembly line to avoid scratching the belt;
5. Regularly maintain, protect, and clean the equipment to keep the workshop and equipment clean.

For the standardized use of belt conveyor lines, the company needs to take into account its own actual situation and strengthen employee training. Only by strengthening the management of the workshop from multiple aspects can the standardized belt conveyor line be effectively used.
