Analysis of the advantages of electric drum:
Electric drum serves as the power source for belt conveyors and lifting equipment. Widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, coal, building materials, electricity, grain, and transportation. The electric drum produced by our factory has three transmission forms: fixed axis gear, planetary gear cycloidal needle transmission. The device types include motor built-in, external, and mobile. When the motor is built-in, there are two types: oil cooled and oil immersed
This type of electric drum has the advantages of compact structure, light weight, good sealing, and convenient installation compared to conventional deceleration structures.
If the following homework situations occur, corresponding corrections should be made:
1. If the electric drum operates continuously for more than 8 hours a day, the motor power needs to be increased by one level;
2. The electric drum with rubber coating on the cylinder needs to increase the motor power by one level;
3. Start the electric drum frequently and increase the motor power by one level.
2 Maintenance of electric drum:
Under normal circumstances, the electric drum should be repaired once a year. The process is as follows:

1. Drain the smooth oil inside the drum clean through the oil drain hole on the left end cover of the drum.

2. Disassemble the drum. The process is as follows: remove the left flange shaft end junction box, left support, and left end cover bolt, then remove the right end cover bolt and right support, and lift the right flange shaft with a lifting ring to lift it out.

3. Clean all components and their inner walls inside the drum.
 
4. Write a sufficient amount of calcium sodium based smooth grease into each bearing (including six motor bearings) from scratch.

5. Replace the sealing rings and oil seals on the motor and drum body. The replaced sealing rings and oil seals must be intact, smooth and round, without any small protrusions or depressions, nor wrinkles. The raw materials must be made of oil resistant rubber.

6. The insulation resistance of the motor winding to the casing and between each other should not be less than 5 megohms, otherwise it should be treated with immersion painting and drying.
 
7. Check the wear condition of each bearing, backstop, and gear, and replace any that cannot be used.

8. The assembly of the drum should be carried out in the reverse process of disassembly, and should be carried out by specialized personnel to ensure quality.

9. Write new N46 engine oil into the drum and make the liquid level reach 1/3 of the drum diameter
