The most obvious problem with a conveyor belt is belt deviation
First place: Properly adjust the load-bearing roller group
When the mesh belt of the conveyor deviates in the middle direction of the entire conveyor belt, the problem of deviation can be solved by adjusting the orientation of the supporting roller group (the device holes on both sides of the roller group are processed with expansion holes during manufacturing to facilitate user adjustment).
Secondly, correct the orientation of the drum and adjust the driving drum
The adjustment of the driving drum and the reversing drum is a very important step in the adjustment of mesh belt deviation. Because a mesh belt conveyor has at least 2 to 5 rollers, the orientation of all rollers must be perpendicular to the base line of the length direction of the mesh belt conveyor. If the deviation is too large, it will inevitably cause deviation. Its conditioning method is similar to that of the conditioning roller group. To resist the head drum, if the mesh belt deviates to the right of the drum, the right bearing seat should move forward. If the mesh belt deviates to the left of the drum, the left bearing seat should move forward. Correspondingly, the left bearing seat can also be moved backward or the right bearing seat can be moved backward. The adjustment method of the tail drum is exactly opposite to that of the head drum. Repeat the adjustment until the mesh belt is adjusted to the desired position. Before adjusting the drive or reversing the drum, it is best to accurately set its orientation.
Thirdly, adjustment of tension points
The adjustment outside of the tension of the mesh belt is a very important step in the adjustment of the deviation of the mesh belt conveyor. The two deflection rollers at the upper part of the heavy hammer tensioning should be perpendicular to the length direction of the mesh belt and also perpendicular to the gravity vertical line, ensuring that their axis base line is horizontal. When using spiral tensioning or hydraulic cylinder tensioning, the two bearing seats of the tensioning roller should move together to ensure that the roller axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the mesh belt. The detailed adjustment method for belt deviation is similar to the adjustment at the drum.
Fourthly, the demand device requires a self-aligning roller set
There are many types of self-aligning roller sets, such as quadrilateral pole type, base pivot type, vertical roller type, etc. Its principle is:; The use of blocking rollers to roll in the direction of the water column to block or generate lateral thrust, causing the mesh belt to automatically move towards the center and adjust the deviation of the mesh belt. This method is usually used for comparison and fairness when the total length of the mesh belt conveyor is short or when the mesh belt conveyor works in both directions. The reason is that shorter mesh belt conveyors are easier to run off track and not easy to adjust. However, it is best not to use this method for long mesh belt conveyors, as the use of self-aligning rollers will inevitably affect the service life of the mesh belt.
Fifth: Adjustment of the deviation of the bidirectional working belt conveyor
The adjustment of the mesh belt deviation of the two-way mesh belt conveyor is relatively more difficult than that of the one-way mesh belt conveyor. In the detailed adjustment, one direction should be adjusted first, and then the other direction. When adjusting, carefully observe the relationship between the direction of mesh belt movement and the tendency of deviation, and adjust accordingly. The key points should be placed on the adjustment of the driving drum and the reversing drum, followed by the adjustment of the idler and the material dropping point. When evaluating the vulcanization of the mesh belt, it is necessary to ensure that the length and force of the mesh belt section are evenly distributed. When using a guide chain for traction, the forces on both sides should be as equal as possible.
